The room is the game. Private-room party games for the friends
and family already sitting next to you. One person opens a room on the TV,
everyone else scans in with a phone, and then the stories start. No accounts,
no strangers, no matchmaking.
The arcade
Games With Words is an arcade — a community of games, each made by a person
and credited on its tile.
Say Less, by The Oracle — make your friends guess the secret
using as few words as you can. Write the clue, dodge the forbidden words,
then the room votes on the funniest guess. 2–12 players, 20–35 minutes.
Ghost Writer, by Vex — everyone answers the prompt except one
player, who never saw it. Read the answers out loud and find the one that
was written blind. 3–12 players, 15–25 minutes.
How it works
Open games-with-words.com on the biggest screen in the room.
Everyone scans the QR code, or types the six-character room code.
Tap start. A random player becomes the host; the board reads the room.
